Grand Canyon Helicopter Wedding

Helicopter Weddings in Las Vegas: Strip Flights & Grand Canyon Ceremonies

Mr. & Mrs. Webb didn’t want a ceremony inside four walls. They wanted the ground to fall away beneath them, literally, so they booked a Grand Canyon helicopter wedding through Shalimar Wedding Chapel, trading a chapel aisle for a 90-minute flight below the rim and a ceremony surrounded by two-billion-year-old canyon walls.

That’s one end of what a helicopter wedding can be. At the other end is a shorter, closer option: a 20-mile flight over the neon of the Las Vegas Strip, with vows exchanged mid-air. Both are real packages Shalimar couples book regularly, and which one fits depends mostly on how much time, budget, and adventure you want built into your wedding day.
