Outdoor Gazebo Wedding in Las Vegas: The Complete Guide

Not every Las Vegas wedding needs to happen indoors under chapel lighting. An outdoor gazebo wedding trades the four walls for open air, natural light, and a courtyard setting, while keeping everything else about a Las Vegas wedding simple: no permits, no travel across the desert, no waiting in line behind tourists. It’s one of the most popular alternatives to a traditional chapel ceremony, and one of the easiest to book.

One couple, Mr. & Mrs. Wright, chose Shalimar’s outdoor gazebo for a nighttime ceremony with just the two of them. No big production, no long guest list, just an intimate exchange of vows under the string lights. That’s the appeal of a gazebo wedding: it scales from a private elopement to a celebration with two dozen guests, without changing the venue.

What an Outdoor Gazebo Wedding Looks Like

Shalimar’s outdoor gazebo sits in a landscaped courtyard at the chapel, set up for ceremonies year-round. Because it’s on-site, there’s no separate travel, no park permit, and no weather-dependent backup plan to coordinate, the chapel handles setup, seating, and timing the same way it does for an indoor ceremony.

Best Time for an Outdoor Ceremony

Las Vegas sees mild weather most of the year, which makes outdoor gazebo weddings reliable outside of the hottest summer stretch.

  • Evening ceremonies: Popular for cooler temperatures and string-light photos, like the Wrights’ nighttime wedding.
  • Spring and fall: The most comfortable months for daytime ceremonies.
  • Summer: Still possible, but plan for heat, an evening slot is worth considering.

What’s Included: Gazebo Wedding Packages

Shalimar offers three outdoor gazebo packages, each seating up to 25 guests with standing room for more:

Package A — $199

  • Use of the outdoor gazebo
  • 8 digital photos, chosen from all photos taken
  • 15-minute photo shoot with the photographer
  • Wedding music
  • 6-rose hand-tied bouquet and matching boutonniere to keep
  • Family and friends welcome to take photos and video during the ceremony

Package B — $299

  • Everything in Package A
  • 12 digital photos instead of 8
  • Professional digital video of the ceremony

Package C — $429

  • Everything in Package B, with 22 digital photos and a 9-rose bouquet
  • Stretch limousine or executive Mercedes SUV transportation for up to 6 people (1.5 hours, pickup to drop-off)

A minister is required and not included in the package price (typically $75+), and a valid Nevada marriage license ($102, from the Clark County Marriage License Bureau) is required for every ceremony. Note that the gazebo does not have a live webcam, if you need livestreaming for guests who can’t attend, ask about our indoor chapel packages instead.

Photo Tips

  • Evening ceremonies photograph beautifully under string lights, if that's your style, book a sunset or later slot.
  • Keep bouquets and boutonnieres simple; they're included and already coordinated with the gazebo backdrop.
  • If you want extra shots beyond what's included, extra photos can be purchased directly through the chapel.
